I am interested in allocating a certain portion of my portfolio into blockchain stocks…

Does anyone know how I can go about this?

#2

There is a serious amount of hype out there around Blockchain, be very careful…

Personally, I would avoid products which markets themselves as exclusively blockchain products. Blockchain ETFs, Blockchain Stocks, Blockchain Funds…

Avoid all of them…

Here is one of my ideas of how to invest in blockchain stocks

Overstock
The company is called overstock.com… The stocks is a bit of a curve ball, considering that CEO Patrick Byrne has been divesting into other retail operations…

A subsidiary of Overstock.com is Medici Ventures, a subsidiary of Overstock - which is on the Medici blockchain at the moment…

Their project must have cost them some serious cash, because its designed to develop a security system essentially than can support a lending function designed to rival Wall Street firms…

The stock has been fairly volatile, but if you had been in there early, you could have really capitalised on those returns!

If you invested in Overstock, you would have been in for a pretty wild ride!

Still though, not a bad return!

I would second everything said here…

Blockchain ETFs, Index Funds of Mutual Funds are scams - avoid

Either find solid companies investing in blockchain, bet on stocks using blockchain technology or do nothing…

Personally, my instinct would be to do absolutely nothing - but that’s just me!
